DEPARTMENT 03 - DIVISION 3

OPEN SWINE SHOW

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 - 4:30 PM

Amount Offered - $972

Superintendent: Tom Duyssen, 4908 Lewis Road, Walworth, NY 14568 – (315) 524-3181

Rules: Animals must meet all Health Requirements as set forth by the NY State Department of Agriculture and Markets.(See rules and health regulations governing livestock exhibits.)

Entry Fees: 10% of 1 st place premium. Payment must accompany entry.

Entries Due: (no exceptions) 6:00 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2007.
All animals must be in place by 10:00 PM, Sunday, August 12, 2007.

Market Class animals will be weighed in at the fairgrounds.

Judging begins at 4:30 PM, Wednesday, August 15, 2007.

Animals must remain on the grounds until 9 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2007, and must be removed by 11 PM, Saturday, August 18, 2007. If unable to remove by 11 PM contact Mike Gladstone (See Board of Directors) to make alternative arrangements.

1. Entries in the registered classes must be purebred, and pedigree furnished when required.
2. Health and registration papers must be presented to the superintendent upon arrival at the fairgrounds
3. No more than two (2) cash premiums will be awarded to any single person in any single class.
4. Animals shown in group classes must also be shown in single class.
5. All feed and bedding must be supplied by the exhibitor.

SECTION 1 - Duroc
SECTION 2 - Yorkshire
SECTION 3 - Hampshire
SECTION 4 - Grade (any breed, all judged one class)

Note: Breeds may be combined due to insufficient entries.

SECTION 5 - Market Hogs

Premium money will be available at the Secretary’s office Friday morning.
