The Wayne County Fairgrounds is the location of the annual Wayne County Fair, held the second full week August.

There are available 100 state-approved campsites; there are no trailer pads, no picnic facilities, etc. [This is not a KOA campground set-up.]

There are no facilities for children [i.e.: playground, swings, etc.].

 

 **Please NOTE:4/15/2011:  Palmyra Closes Dump Station

 

 

The Village of Palmyra has closed its RV  dump station on NYS Route 31. This action,  taken regretfully, was necessary to protect the integrity of the Palmyra Waste Water System. Location of other dump stations facilities  across the country can be found on www.rvdumps.com.

Camping is available during the following times:
June, July and August [including the Hill Cumorah Pageant]

         August: including during the week of the Wayne County Fair
          (Click here for current Fair Week Dates / Events)

                 Other times by reservation only.

AVAILABLE SITES:

1. 16 sites with 30 amp electric, water & sewer    $30 per night

2. 40 sites with 20 amp electric & water                $25 per night

3. 50 sites with tent space (limit 2 tents per site)  $20 per night

Prices based on 4 people per site.
Each additional person $1.00 - Maximum 8 people per site.

AMENITIES & REGULATIONS:
Restrooms with showers.
Dumping station.
Within walking distance to Village of Palmyra - Main St.
Picnic Tables are NOT supplied.
NO open campfires.
This is a fairgrounds and not a recreational camping site.
