Set-up of exhibits: 9:00am - 5:00pm on Sunday, the day before opening day of the fair [unless otherwise noted with class/category informaton.]

Take-down of Exhibits: **Except as noted in department rules, NO EXHIBIT, open or 4-H division, may be taken-down and/or removed from the grounds before 8:00 AM ON SUNDAY, August 15, 2010 or premium monies will be forfeited.

Exhibits are open daily from 10:00 am - 10:30 pm.

If, during the fair hours [10 am - 10:30pm] you require transportation assistance bringing in / taking out materials [or yourself] please notify the fair office [next to the First Aid building, just west of Floral Hall]. All exhibitor's vehicles are to be in proper provided parking areas no later than 9:45am daily.

* All Dept 10 Non-Perishable items
must be brought to the fairgrounds and submitted on the Saturday before Fair, between 9am - 5pm.  

 ** Dept. 10 (All Youth & All Culinary) Judging done on Sunday BEFORE Fair. 

 


 

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS - EXHIBITOR RULES

 

1. Articles not listed here will not be accepted for entry.

2. No premium will be paid upon any entry not made at the Secretary's Office.

3. All entries are entered and shown at the risk of the owner. The Union Agricultural Society at Palmyra will not be responsible in case of fire, theft, accidental or providential damage or destruction. Precautions will be taken, and experienced superintendents will be in charge of each show.

4. The Association reserves the right to substitute a judge at any time it deems necessary.

5. Livestock showing any signs of sickness or disease will be removed from the grounds at the discretion of the Show Superintendent.

6. All entries are final. Payment of an entry fee signifies compliance with the rules set forth in this catalog.

7. The Wayne County Fair will not be responsible for special awards offered by anyone other than the Association.

8. No interference between exhibitor and judge will be allowed.

9. Except as noted in department rules, no exhibit, open or 4-H division, may be removed from the grounds prior to 8:00 AM, ON Sunday, August 15, 2010 or premium monies will be forfeited.

10. Good check, cash, or money order accepted in payment of entry fees.
