New Barn! |

 |
The two cattle barns, 1 wood & 1 cinder block, built in 1950 [Cattle Barn I & Cattle Barn II] were in need of more than just "repairs". The leadership of the Union Agricultural Society at Palmyra, NY, striving to provide for the future of this great fairground, deemed this new structure a necessity to provide safe, and continued housing, for the animals during the annual Wayne County Fair. A grant was applied for, received and used for this construction. However, as the hurdles to this building were met and overcome more aroseÉ in the end, as time passed and costs increased, the grant funding was not enough to cover the construction & related costs.
Please show your support of this legacy of the 'Great Wayne County Fair' and help support it for your children, grandchildren and future generations by contributing to the "BUY-A-BRICK" program which will help offset the additional construction costs. Click on the link to print a copy of the purchase form.
